Fira Mediterrània attends the third edition of Vitrin at the Istanbul Jazz Festival

The third edition of Vitrin will be held from 3–7 July within the framework of the Istanbul Jazz Festival. It includes a programme of showcases and network meetings aimed at sector professionals and focused on Turkish music. Fira Mediterrània Manresa is there to learn about the musical panorama of this important location for Mediterranean creativity, an intersection between a very rich musical tradition and a vibrant contemporary music scene.

Vitrin’s showcases gather all these cultural trends with proposals defined by different genres (jazz, rock, electronic, ethnic sounds and global fusion). In addition to the most important up-and-coming bands in Turkey, Vitrin's programme will also include network meetings that aim to expand the attending international professionals’ knowledge of the Turkish music scene. These professionals include international festival directors, cultural institutions, recruitment agencies, promoters, record labels, music journalists and radio producers from all over the world.

In October, a delegation from Vitrin will attend the 22nd edition of Fira Mediterrània as part of the State and International Action Plan for the Manresa market.
