Fira Mediterrània attends the new European Folk Network (EFN)

Today and tomorrow, Fira Mediterrània will be attending the first conference organised in Brussels by the newly created European Folk Network (EFN), a network made up of organisations linked to popular and traditional culture from all over Europe.

The main objective of the network is to support and broaden awareness of traditional culture as a cultural and educational force in Europe. With this objective in mind, we want to stimulate, promote and support the development of folk music and associated arts in their various forms; create opportunities for European artists, organisations and audiences to meet; communicate and collaborate with each other; and also cultivate these relationships beyond Europe.
