The preview programme features leading figures appearing at the 15th Fira Mediterrània, some of whom have not previously performed on the Manresa stages. Noa's inclusion on the schedule is especially exciting. The Israeli singer, one of the great vocalists to come from the Mediterranean, will be performing at Teatre Kursaal in Manresa on Friday 9 November, accompanied by the Solis String Quartet and with a brand new repertoire. Also performing at Teatre Kursaal, on Saturday 10 November, is Polish band Kroke, a real Klezmer music institution, celebrating their twentieth anniversary this year with a thrilling live show. Other great acts to look forward to are Cobla Sant Jordi & Niño Josele, with a special appearance by Sardinian trumpet-player Paolo Fresu. Fresu, widely regarded as one of Europe’s top jazz players, will be making his mark on a show led by flamenco guitarist Niño Josele. Opening the programme is Tuétano by dancer Andrés Marín, one of the most famous creators of modern flamenco dance. The show contains a striking combination of avant-garde and traditional flamenco elements and features two exceptional artists: dancer Concha Vargas and vocalist La Macanita.
