Fira Mediterrània attend speed business meetings at Medimex Festival (Italy)

Jordi Fosas, the artistic director of Fira Mediterrània Manresa, will be at the “Face to Face(s)” speed business meetings on Saturday 8 June, at the 2019 Medimex International Festival & Music Conference, in Taranto (Apolia, Italy). It is one of the programme activities aimed at professional delegates, who come to the festival in Italy on 7-8 June.

This year, the core themes of the Medimex professional programme include: music commercialisation; the recording industry; live performance; and the relationship between music and artificial intelligence. During the days of the event, artists and booking agents from the industry can take advantage of a range of tools offered by the organisation to make contact with festival directors, agency managers, record labels and international players.

Participation in Medimex is part of an agreement with Puglia Sounds, an international partner of the Fira Mediterrània organisation. As part of this agreement, professional delegates from both organisations will take part in the respective events and conduct joint initiatives to publicise activities.

Medimex is a project by Puglia Sounds, a programme in the Apulia region to develop a system of regional music.
