The sixth world pop music festival NoBorder takes place in Brest (Brittany, France) from 8 to 11 December. Fira Mediterrània has been invited to attend as a result of agreements of exchange in place this year with different cultural agents in Brittany. The first outcome of this exchange, included in Fira’s National and International Plan of Action, was a performance by the French group Spontus and the Catalan graller player Manu Sabaté at the last Fira Mediterrània, who showcased a project created during an artist-in-residence programme in Manresa. The NoBorder festival line-up includes concerts, a questions and answer session about immaterial and cultural heritage, and meetings of different industry professionals. The event is an initiative of the Bretagne-based groups World Sound, DROM association and the Le Quartz national stage in Brest.
