Registration period for the Smithsonian Folklife Festival now open

In the summer of 2018, Catalonia will be the guest culture at the 51st Smithsonian Folklife Festival, one of the most renowned cultural festivals in the US. The festival takes place in Washington around the time of the 4 July celebrations. The aim of featuring Catalan culture at the event is to show the rich variety of cultural tradition and artistic expression in Catalonia. To make the most of this occasion, the 31st International Gathering organised by Adifolk will also take place for the first time outside Europe.
