Jaume Casademont Foundation of Girona adds a second amount to the Innovation in Popular Culture Grants due to be awarded in Manresa-Catalonia
Jaume Casademont Foundation of Girona, a Fira Mediterrània of Manresa partner organisation, has increased the amount of money earmarked for the Innovation in Popular Culture Grants awarded every year at the Manresa market. A new second grant of €2,500 is to be added to the total of €5,000 allocated in previous years. This year will be the fourth time the grants have been awarded, with €7,500 now available for artists and creative professionals. The new grant focuses on small-format projects.

Proposals are now being accepted up to the deadline next spring. Two grant recipients will be given the chance to premiere their shows at Fira Mediterrània of Manresa 2014, plus a second performance sponsored by Girona City Council.
