From 27 to 30 June, Istanbul hosts its second showcase of contemporary Turkish music, and representatives of Fira Mediterrània will be among the international delegates to attend. The Vitrin line-up includes performances by some of the best new musical talent in Turkey, as well as several network gatherings and meetings with key players from the local music industry.

Vitrin takes place as part of the country’s largest festival, the Istanbul Jazz Festival. Organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV), it attracts 25,000 visitors and more than 50 jazz, rock, pop, reggae, funk and world music performances. The visit by Fira Mediterrània delegates to Vitrin marks the start of an exchange with its festival organisers. In October, representatives of the Turkish festival will come to Fira Mediterrània in Manresa.
