The Fira Mediterrània is projected in Germany and in the Fira of Tàrrega

September is a busy month for fairs and the international projection of the Fira Mediterrània of Manresa. It is now in the final stage starting with the Padeborn Fair (Germany), with which Manresa have excellent relations started last year, continuing with the 31st Tàrrega street theatre Fair held from 8th to 11th September, where a stand will be installed in the professional association, and Manresa is now in the final phase of offering reduced rates for professionals wishing to attend the “Mediterrània Professional Meeting”. Last year, during this same phase, the Fira Mediterrània attracted the attention of 1,160 professionals which produced 1,650 contracts, according to the results of the cultural impact survey carried out by the University of Deusto, and financed by the Ministry of Culture. Buying and selling companies can attend the Fair, or have a stand in the main business area of the Professional Association, or in another business area in Passeig Pere III.

The programming of the Fira will be announced at the beginning of this week at the “Performance” performing arts fair of Paderborn, which, apart from the Mediterrània, will be attended by nine other performing arts companies. The Fira Mediterrània attends under the umbrella of the framework “Catalan Arts” of the “Institut Català d’Indústries Culturals” (Catalan Institute of Cultural Industries) of the Catalan Regional Government. Eight of these companies will also be performing, five more than last year’s edition.
