Inmates at Lledoners prison make a video clip of traditional music group “Riu”
The video clip is the outcome of a Fira Mediterrània of Manresa Foundation training course led by producer David Pérez and attended by members of Lledoners Prison Audiovisual Workshop. The film presents members of the Sant Boi del Llobregat group Riu, winners of the 2011 Sons de la Mediterrània competition, playing their piece "Noces" in one of the prison blocks.

Members of Lledoners Prison Audiovisual Workshop took part in a video clip production course led by producer David Pérez and co-organised by the Fira Mediterrània of Manresa Foundation. The activity took place shortly before the 15th Fira Mediterrània and was spread over two sessions, one for theory and another for recording the clip. Now that the participants have put their film together, it’s time for them to show us the result. The short video shows the vibrant “Noces”, a piece featured on “Amb canya”, Riu’s first CD officially launched at Fira last November. The band from Sant Boi de Llobregat is one of the most dynamic on the Catalan folk scene and they were delighted to be part of the project.
