Fira Mediterrània offers discounts for Campus Universitari of Manresa card holders
Fira Mediterrània and Campus Universitari of Manresa have sealed an agreement by which Campus Card holders will get a 20% discount when they purchase tickets for paying shows at the forthcoming Fira event, due to be held from 7 to 10 November. For Fira, the Campus Card is a great form of publicity that reaches out to a major group of consumers in the city, and for students, it’s a fantastic incentive to come along to activities organised by Fira.

The Campus Card came into operation in January this year and is a Campus Universitari of Manresa initiative led by Manresa City Council. The Campus consists of the city’s four university centres (Escola Politècnica Superior d’Enginyeria de Manresa, EPSEM; Fundació Universitària del Bages, FUB; Althaia, UIC, and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, UOC), plus the University Library, Student Halls of Residence and Manresa Council.
The Card enables companies, shops and various associations to offer their products, services and favourable rates, plus exclusive promotions targeting university students. The main aim of this latest initiative is to create closer and mutually beneficial links between the city’s university community and the local economic and social sector. The idea is that the Card is a "city-wide card" that highlights the advantages of living and studying in Manresa. It is also intended to offer Manresa’s university students an exclusive promotional product packed with advantages, strengthen their sense of community and of belonging to the Campus and to the city, as well as encouraging local businesses to treat Manresa as a university city.
The Campus Card is personal and non-transferable and is given to students when they enrol. To benefit from the Fira Mediterrània promotion, students will need to show their card when they buy their tickets.
